Introducing the new Trend&Brand corporate site

Why we rebuilt the Trend&Brand corporate site as a fast, evidence-gated Astro static build — and what changed.

We rebuilt trendandbrands.com. Not because the old site was broken, but because a corporate website is a promise, and a promise should be verifiable.

What changed

The new site is an Astro static build. That means:

  • HTML is rendered at build time. Google, Bing, Applebot, ChatGPT Search, Claude Search, and Perplexity all read the same clean HTML.
  • JavaScript is small and optional. Core content is readable without any JavaScript running.
  • Content is typed. Every phone number, registration ID, service description, and case study lives in one typed data file. No stale copy scattered across five components.

Evidence-gated relationships

Every brand relationship on the site is now gated by an evidence record. Rendering a partner label requires:

  1. A proof document on file
  2. Owner approval for public display
  3. The relationship being active
  4. Wording that exactly matches the underlying authorization

If any check fails, the badge doesn’t render. There is no fallback logo strip. This is the honest way to display commercial relationships.

Two divisions, clearly labelled

We do two things and we say what they are:

  • Commerce. Our own direct-to-consumer store, marketplace operations where applicable, and selected brand and manufacturer partnerships.
  • Technology. Websites, Shopify and eCommerce, SaaS, dashboards, API integrations, AI-enabled tools.

Both are visible on the homepage within the first screen. If you land here and you can’t tell what we do in ten seconds, we’ve failed at the brief.
